There is three sections of the Army.
Regulars- There is a small standing force of soldiers stationed in Dazhou, most of the regulars are in fact, marines.
Reserves- A much larger force of infantrymen work part time, training through the week or on the weekend. This gives Dazhou a much larger army, with less costs. In times of full mobilization Dazhou can call on a large pool of men with basic skills, this cuts down on the amount of time recruits have to be trained for. Unemployed men are forced by law to join the national reserves
The National Dazhou Defense Force- The national police force is also trained up to the infantrymen standard.
